Section S-4 Seminars

Aal-Pa-Tah Home » Calendar » Section S-4 Seminars

Section S-4 Seminars is swiftly approaching. All Arrowman are invited to Section Seminars and it is a good opportunity to expand on your education with classes in Leadership, Ceremonies, Native American culture, and Service.

If you have ever thought about entering into a Leadership position in the Lodge or are currently in a Leadership position then Section Seminars are for you. Or perhaps you thought about being on the ceremonial team, or learning the different styles of Indian dances or drumming and may be thinking of joining the Hitchiti dancers, then Section Seminars are for you. Or maybe you just want to learn more about The Order of the Arrow.

But Section Seminars are not just about the training; there is a lot of fun too. There will be swimming, the climbing tower, a Pow Wow, a show and a patch auction. And let’s not forget the fellowship with other Arrowman from all the Section S-4 Lodges.

Section Seminars are taking place November 13 – 15, 2009 at Camp La-No-Che, which is 50 miles north of Orlando, and hosted by the Tipisa Lodge. The registration fee is $25.00, which includes a Seminar Delegate Dangle patch. There will be a $10 late registration fee if your registration and money is not into council by October 31st.

Transportation is separate. If we get enough people who are interested, the Lodge will rent a 12-person van with a cost of $45.00 per person. The other option is to carpool, but please don’t forget to chip in for the gas and tolls. To register for this event, visit out Registration Page. You must still contact the Council Service Center to complete the payment process at 561-694-8585 or email your credit card information to kelsey.cupples@scouting.org.

Make sure to look at the Daily Schedule and the Training Matrix.

If you have any question please contact 2009 Seminars Contingent Leader Oakley Hammond at treasurer@aal-pa-tah237.org or Lea Arnold at lea@arnoldfamily.cc.
