Service/Ordeal Weekend 2009

Weekend Patch

This weekend will be held at Camp Tanah Keeta on May 29 - 31. The Service Weekend will be a great weekend of giving back tied in with a healthy dose of fun. This weekend will also be the first Ordeal weekend of 2008. The Lodge Elections are held during the Service Weekend, every vote counts so please attend this weekend.

Please call the Council Service Center and reserve your spot TODAY! You must pre-pay the weekend fee of $15.00 which includes a weekend patch, by May 23rd. Members must be dues paid to participate in Lodge events (check the mailing label to see if your dues are current). Annual Lodge dues are $10.00. Payment can be made in person, by mail, or by phone with a credit card (VISA/MC/AMEX/DISC) at 561-694-8585 ext 234. You will also be allowed to register at the door for $20.00. Save the hassle of having to register, purchase a 2009 Fast Pass. It's only $100! The Fast Pass registers you for all the weekend Lodge events, covers dues, annual year patch, plus if you are not able to make it to a weekend, a weekend patch will be saved for you.

Talent Release - By participating in any Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge activity, the participant, and the participant's legal guardian when the participant is a minor, grants Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - permission and consent, to copyright, use, publish, exhibit, display, broadcast, or otherwise disseminate via any medium: film, video, kinescope, audio, still pictures, slides, or any other type of recording, which includes the participant's name, voice, and/or image or likeness. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any and all rights to inspection or approval of the final product. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any all rights to remuneration for uses consistent with this waiver. The participant and/or legal guardian further releases Aal-Pa-Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - from any liability arising out of uses consistent with this waiver, including but not limited to claims of misrepresentation or false light. Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council warrants they shall conduct all uses in manners consistent with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America.
