Section Conference 2010- Pause and look back on Scouting

Section ConferenceOn April 16th-18th something unprecedented is set to happen at the beautiful Camp Flaming Arrow. Aal-Pa-Tah lodge will once again be hyped up for a strong showing at this year’s Section Conference taking place during the 100th anniversary of Scouting. We hope to see all members of our lodge, young and old, in attendance at this monumental milestone in Scouting History.

Our lodge has decided to work under the theme of “Pause and look back on the 70’s” and hopes to embody this theme to the fullest with a multitude of psychedelic goodies for all in attendance at this fun weekend, including a custom retro style baseball jersey with three quarter selves, as well as your name on the back. Additional shirts can be order for $15.00 from council office.

The program for the weekend provided by the Host lodge, Seminole Lodge, will include Lodge competitions throughout the day, a Native American Pow-Wow, and an awe-aspiring Arena Show.

The registration cost for this weekend will is $60.00 dollars per person and will include a retro t-shirt, patch, and lots of fun, food, and fellowship. Transportation for those in need of a ride will be coordinated through the lodge. Talent Release - By participating in any Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge activity, the participant, and the participant's legal guardian when the participant is a minor, grants Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - permission and consent, to copyright, use, publish, exhibit, display, broadcast, or otherwise disseminate via any medium: film, video, kinescope, audio, still pictures, slides, or any other type of recording, which includes the participant's name, voice, and/or image or likeness. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any and all rights to inspection or approval of the final product. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any all rights to remuneration for uses consistent with this waiver. The participant and/or legal guardian further releases Aal-Pa-Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - from any liability arising out of uses consistent with this waiver, including but not limited to claims of misrepresentation or false light. Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council warrants they shall conduct all uses in manners consistent with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America.
