Magic: The Gathering

Are you a Magic: The Gathering buff? If so, be sure to bring your best deck because you will be sure to find plenty of scouts who play around camp. During weekend events, stop by the dining hall to find an upwards of fifty scouts locked in, "The Game of Strategery of Epic Proportions." For those scouts who do not like partaking in larger games, you can most definitely find a solo game under a pavilion in your campsite.

Lodge Hearts Tournament

Held yearly, usually at Powwow, the Lodge Hearts Tournament is held to test the skill of card players of all ages. Taking place in the dining hall, scouts and adult leaders alike come to claim the Lodge Hearts Tournament trophy.

Free Climbs

Do you like climbing walls? If so, don't forget to find out weather Free Climbs are available during weekend events.

Video Games Tournaments

Considered by some of the more tech-savvy members of the Lodge to be the highlight of the event, video game tournaments certainly test the skill and determination of Lodge members. Some of the tournaments include:

  • Halo
  • Call of Duty 4
  • Call of Duty World at War
  • Old School Games

So, be sure to check out the dining hall after the sun goes down for a night of plasma rifles and Sherman Tanks.

The 237 Surprise

For all those Lodge members who are, "night people," be sure to stay up until 2:37 AM to take part in what's called The 237 Surprise. What is it? It's a surprise!

Patch Trading

Considered by some to be the the purpose of life, patch trading is something you will always be sure to find plenty of during Lodge weekend events. You won't have to look far to find someone with a binder or bag full of patches eager to get their hands on some more. So, be sure to bring all of your doubles, because you wouldn't want to miss out on the trading that goes on during these events.

Board Games

Are you apt in the ways of Chess and Risk? If so, be sure to check out the dining hall for challengers. Test you wit and determination going head to head with your fellow scouts in such games as:

  • Monopoly
  • Chess
  • Connect 4
  • Risk
  • And More

Talent Release - By participating in any Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge activity, the participant, and the participant's legal guardian when the participant is a minor, grants Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - permission and consent, to copyright, use, publish, exhibit, display, broadcast, or otherwise disseminate via any medium: film, video, kinescope, audio, still pictures, slides, or any other type of recording, which includes the participant's name, voice, and/or image or likeness. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any and all rights to inspection or approval of the final product. The participant and/or legal guardian waives any all rights to remuneration for uses consistent with this waiver. The participant and/or legal guardian further releases Aal-Pa-Lodge and Gulf Stream Council - and their officers, employees, agents, licensees, representatives, or assigns - from any liability arising out of uses consistent with this waiver, including but not limited to claims of misrepresentation or false light. Aal-Pa-Tah Lodge and Gulf Stream Council warrants they shall conduct all uses in manners consistent with the policies of the Boy Scouts of America.
